I'm glad you wrote about that because I've been through that situation a few times - and then I started going out of my way to make conversations with people I knew were a bit lonely - like my elderly neighbor. I go there every Sunday now just to say G'day and chat about the good old days and listen to all her amazing life stories. I used to think I was helping her by visiting, but really - I'm the lucky one because I get to share her amazing life, every Sunday, over dinner, little by little.

Thanks Allen. It's true; I think we often forget about the tiniest of things and how they can make the biggest of differences. I know I'll never be able to find that little old lady but she's one of the key reasons all this is happening. I think (hope) she'd be happy to know that :)
